Bird watching at Kavadi-pat Pune

Kavadi is a small village at about 20 Km from Pune which is full of water birds.
In the winter season you will get so many type of birds in Kavadi-Pat. Its easy to reach there if you have your own vehicle and good time to visit this place early in the morning from 7 am to 11 am.
Bird watching place is easily trace because lot of photographers and bird watchers are already there in early morning.
My visit was on 20th December 2013 with my Sony cyber shot H-100.

How to Reach:
- Pune
- Hadapsar ( Pune - Solapur Highway)
- First Toll -> Immediately after the toll plaza watch out for Manali Resort on the left hand side.
- Take first left after Manali resort to Kavdi-pat.
- Tar roads through vegetable farms and sugar cane fields drives straight to kavdipat.(about 2 kms.)
