Weekend Winter Trip to Diveagar Beach

Diveagar is a small village on the konkan coastline and the beach is easily accessible from Pune therefore it is best weekend destination near Pune.

We started the journey from Pune at 7am from Wakad and travel via Hinjewadi phase 3, Pirangut, Mulshi dam and Tamhini Ghat. After crossing Tamhini MIDC we headed towards Mangaon on the Goa highway, then towards Mhasala and finally to Diveagar (right turn after Mhasala village).

First day was spend in travel on the scenic coastal drives from Diveagar to Harihareshwar and visited the famous Pradakshina Marg and visited back to home-stay to enjoyed the group plays.

In afternoon we start for Murud-Janjira Fort from Dighi port but due to weekend there was too many people who were planning to travel towards Murud-Janjira Fort from Diveagar, so we were unable to get the ferry for Janjira port.

At last moment our driver refuse to put his traveller on the ferry and we have to carry on without the traveller, but after reaching Agardanda Jetty we found an ST bus which drop us 2 km before Janjira fort. After walking for 30mins we reached Murud Janjira Fort.
