Bangalore city is home to the beautiful, wild and colorful creatures called butterflies! It is also credited as the first and foremost butterfly park in India. It was our second day destination of our weekend trip to Bangalore.
Bannerghatta National Park is a popular tourist destination and around 22km from Bengaluru. It was our second day destination of our weekend trip to Bangalore. We woke up around 8AM and started the journey by local bus after having breakfast at Madiwala. We switched few buses from Madiwala to Bannerghatta via BTM Layout.
Gulbarga Zoo is one of the small zoo located at the center of the Gulbarga City, also known as "Mini Zoo" of Gulbarga. We visited this place on my last trip to Gulbarga in December 2015.
On our trip to North India, we visited to Himalayan Wild Life Zoo in Kufri also known as Himalayan Nature Park or Kufri Zoo. It is situated around 18Km from Shimla (on Shimla-Kufri-Chail road) and spread over 90 Hectares which forms a natural habitat for many wild animals of the Western Himalaya.
Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary (मयुरेश्वर अभयारण्य) is a very small Wildlife Sanctuary near Pune in Supe village of Baramati district. This small region is a microhabitat for Chinkara – चिंकारा (Indian Gazelle) .
