13:18:00
Bangalore city is home to the beautiful, wild and colorful creatures called butterflies! It is also credited as the first and foremost butterfly park in India. It was our second day destination of our weekend trip to Bangalore.
Butterfly Park in Bangalore offers you a trail of these beautiful creatures across 1 km, the landscape is further enhanced by gardens and man-made water bodies. It adds a unique opportunity for kids and adults alike to feel a lot closer to nature.
Butterfly Park in Bangalore was inaugurated by Kapil Sibal in 2006. The entire park has been established over area 7.5 acres which has a butterfly trail of about 1 km length. The ‘butterfly trail’ established over a five acre garden leads the visitors to an innovatively designed three dome structure housing the conservatory, museum and the multi-media center.
