Today I just thought to start a trend to share a photo of food as “Food Post” to make sure that I post something on this blog whenever I have food outside or visit to some famous eateries in town. Simply sharing the photo is not enough right? So I will be sharing a photo with the name of the place where it was click and few details if possible about the place and dishes.

Arthur’s Seat is popularly known as the Queen of all the points in Mahabaleshwar; it is named after Sir Arthur Malet who lost his wife and daughter in a disastrous ferry accident in the Savitri River. After that, he used to sit here staring at the river and wish for their coming back to life. The point is perched at the height of 1470m above the sea level and 600 m above Konkan coastal strip.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara - Dakkhani Taj (Taj of the Deccan) is a tomb located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was erected by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's son Azam Shah in the memory of his mother (Rabia-ud-Daurani). Aurangzeb wasn’t much interested in architecture so didn’t build much except The Pearl Mosque - Moti Masjid (smallest but elegant Mosque) in Delhi and Badshahi Mosque (one of the largest Mosques in the world) at Lahore.

Dudhsagar waterfalls – A place for nature lover and enthusiasts like us, it is the place situated in the middle of a forest on the Goa-Karnataka border. Dudhsagar railway station (upper part) can be access by train directly or trekking from Castle Rock or Kulem railway track. And the lower part of waterfall can be accessible through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, where forest department runs a SUV vehicle service through the sanctuary up to the foot of the Dudhsagar waterfalls. This service is closed during monsoon.
