Tikona Fort and Sunset at Pawana Lake (dam) revisited.

A quick planning made us to visit the best place near Pune which is around 65 Km and unique place for trekking and water sports(Lohagad Resort and Boating Club), which can be easily visited by bike or personal vehicle.

Me and my friend (Sandeep) started from Pune around 12.30 PM on 08th February 2014 and reached Tikona fort by 2.30 with lot of photo session on the way. Tikona fort (Tikona Peth) is 7 Km from Pawananagar which is the base village for Pawana Dam. Refer my previous blog for road direction till Pawananagar (Pawana Dam) at my-first-bike-ride-to-pawana-lake.

Tikona fort can easily be trekked in 1.5 hour with small breaks, it have a scenic view of Tung, Lohagad, Visapur forts and Backwaters of Pawana Dam from top. It too have small temple at the top.
