Monsoon bike ride to Madhe Ghat
02:37:00
Madhe Ghat is the best scenic ghat with many beautiful landscape views and waterfalls surrounded by the plateau.
After a quick decision I planned for a short bike ride to visit Madhe Ghat on the weekend and started in second half of the day at 2 pm from Kondhwa and took the route following Bangalore highway (NH 4) via old Katraj tunnel.
How to reach Madhe Ghat from Pune: There are two main route to reach Madhe Ghat from Pune
1.) Pune - Katraj - Nasrapur (Baneshwar temple) - Velhe -Madhe. This was the route which I followed and returned back from the same route.
2.) Pune - Khadakwasla - Sinhagad - Velhe - Madha Ghat.
It also provide a good option for a round trip around Pune starting from option 1 and return back from option 2, which I will preserve for future bike ride as it have beautiful scenery all over the trip.

Trip was overall too scenic but the road condition
disappointed me in some places, because my last trip was too smooth due to the
best State Highway near Satara. Also, the fog interrupted the whole scenery of waterfalls
on Madhe Ghat. Below are some of my picture of my trip.
After crossing the velhe village you will find Torna fort to the left side of the road.
