One day weekend trip from Gulbarga to Bidar

It was the scenic bike ride of 250 Km on the smooth state highway of Karnataka. 

The first break was at the bridge Bennethora reservoir  to watching the sunrise in the foggy morning.

Finally reached Bidar after superb ride of 116 Km from Gulbarga City, Karnataka. We visited many historical places in Bidar which are Bareed Shahi park, Memorial Park, Bidar Fort, Chaukhandi, Ashtur Bahmani tombs and Madrasa of Mahmud Gawan.


Chaukhandi of Hazrat Khalil Ullah is a tomb built in honour of Hazrat Khalil Ullah, the spiritual adviser of Sultan Ahmed Shah, a Mughal emperor. This two-storied structure is an octagonal shaped tomb.

The Chaubara is right in the middle of a densely populated area and the traffic that flows somehow reduces a tourist’s interest towards it. However, it was one of the important monuments of the ancient time.
