Scenic Waterfalls at Mulshi Dam

After having a adventures bike ride Pune-AambyValley-Mulshi Dam-Pune last year in July 2013 via Tikona fort and Pawana Dam, we again got an opportunity to visit the scenic waterfalls of Tamhini Ghat on 09th August 2014, which was in the travel list from long time, but unfortunately we miss this time also due to the bridge work which stopped the people going towards Tamhini Ghat.
So we plan to visit the waterfalls near the boundary of Mulshi Dam backwater which is the first monsoon trip of 2014, this place did not disappointed us as it has scenic waterfalls and very few crowd as compare to Bhushi Dam in Lonavala.

This place is the best picnic spot for family and couples near Mulshi dam in rainy season which is only 50Kms from Pune and 40Kms from Hinjewadi, Pune.

Landmark is Atmantan Health Care Centre in Palase village, from where you have keep walking towards the left on the hill to reach the Waterfall. You may find some crowd and small stalls on the left corner in Rainy season.
The road condition are improved a lot as compare to last year. Best time to have a ride will be the rainy season for misty ride.
