Feroz Shah Kotla Fort, one of the haunted forts in India. It is located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in Delhi and was established by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in 1354 on the bank of Yamuna River. The Fort had a Pillared halls, Palace, Mosque and water tank (Baoli).
At the main entrance there is a plain Iron Gate bearing the board of Feroz Shah Kotla and supporting an adjoining guard post placed on the other side. The boundary walls are built as stone stonework & it all seems like a plain garden decorated with banquet parts of a damaged structure.

Every Thursday, this fort is visited by many locals with candles, incense sticks and leaving offerings of milk and grain to appease the Djinns & spirits that are said to reside in this fort. This fort is open to all with minimum changes as admission fee.
The Firoz Shah Kotla Mosque, one of the most likely buildings within the city. Apparently, the mosque ruins around the iron cases, a wardrobe, and few carpets and has green dome rooftop which lies unattached to the whole structure.

The water well or Baoli in the Fort complex is said to be the important source of water to the fortress. The circular well which is open to the sky, had pulleys to lift water. This complex system of pipes and channels pumped water to the roof of two stores rooms around the well.
The main complex has a Pyramidal Structure supporting the Ashoka Pillar - which lends a sense of historical significance to the fort; this sandstone column was brought from Ambala by Firoz Shah.
Firoz Shah was a well-known builder, who was recognized for the construction of several mosques, hunting lodges, reservoirs for irrigation, collages in and around Delhi.
