Bird watching at Pashan Lake, Pune, Maharashtra, India

As winter is started so I found a place for migrated birds in Pune and visited on 18th December 2013 which was too early, so found very less quantity of birds as compare to Bhigwan.
Surrounding area of the lake is not easily reachable as it took lot of efforts to find the place (called Jai Bhavani Garden) and local people are also not much aware of the bird watching at this lake, also google map fail to help too.
This place is only suitable for Bird watching as there is no proper place to hangout, so if you are planning for bird watching then the best timing would be early morning at around 7.30 am.

I found many birds as Grey Heron, Pond Heron, Great Egret, Green Bee Eater, Little Cormorant, Painted Stork and many more.

Location: Situated on NH4 bangalore highway
Distance: 12 Km from Pune, 148 KM from Mumbai
